What is Web Development?

Web Development is the art of creating and maintaining websites and web applications. It includes both front-end development (what users see) and back-end development (the logic and data that power applications). A Full Stack Developer combines both skills to build complete applications from scratch.

Roles of a Web Developer

  • Front-End Developer: Works with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks to design engaging, responsive user interfaces.
  • Back-End Developer: Uses Node.js, Express, SQL, and server-side technologies to handle data, security, and application logic.
  • Full Stack Developer: Builds both front-end and back-end systems, deploying complete applications with modern tools like React, Next.js, and APIs.
